Dr. Reed Hogan III is a new addition to the GI Associates and Endoscopy Center team, joining as a gastroenterologist in August 2014. Dr. Hogan received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS earning his Doctor of Medicine. After a residency and internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center, he completed a fellowship there in Gastroenterology in 2014.
Dr. Hogan is board certified in Internal Medicine, and is affiliated with most hospitals in the Jackson area. He is a member of both the Mississippi State Medical Association and the American Gastroenterological Association.

E. Stephen Weeks joined the GI Associates family in 2012 and is one of the gastroenterologists at the Flowood GI Associates and Endoscopy Center.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology/Pre-Med and a minor in History from the Mississippi College and he received his Education M.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and then Dr. Weeks stayed there to complete his fellowship in Gastroenterology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
In addition to receiving numerous honors and awards he has spent time volunteering at local Jackson-Metro organizations such as the Jackson Free Clinic, Stewpot Community Service and Habitat for Humanity. He enjoys spending his free time strength training, traveling or engaging in outdoor activities.

Ronald P. Kotfila joined the GI Associates family in 1997 and is one of the gastroenterologists at the Flowood GI Associates and Endoscopy Center and the Madison GI Associates and Endoscopy Center.
Dr. Kotfila received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona and went on to pursue his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. After serving on the faculty, he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at UCD as well. He is board certified in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Kotfila has received various honors and awards, has an extensive list of research experience and has authored several scientific publications. He has been awarded the title of Fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. In addition to working for GI Associates, Dr. Kotfila has served as President of the Mississippi GI Society and as Medical Director of Endoscopy at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. He sees patients with all gastrointestinal problems and has a special expertise in problems involving the Biliary system and pancreas (ERCP, cholangioscopy, stone lithotripsy). Dr. Kotfila also has expertise in motility disorders including GERD, swallowing difficulties, achalasia and Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction.

Jeffrey McCrary joined the GI Associates in July 2013 and is one of the gastroenterologist at the Flowood based GI Associates.
Dr. McCrary graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi, where he also received his Doctor of Medicine. He also completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in the division of Digestive Diseases at the University of Mississippi. Dr. McCrary is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. McCrary has an extensive list of professional associations including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He also served as president of the American College of Physicians- Council of Associates.

J. Trippe McNeese joined the GI Associates family in 2010 and is one of the gastroenterologists at the Flowood GI Associates and Endoscopy Center.
He received a Bachelor of Science with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi. After medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. McNeese also completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Vonda Reeves, a Mt. Olive, MS native, joined the GI Associates family in 1997 and is one of the gastroenterologists at the Flowood GI Associates and Endoscopy Center and the Madison GI Associates and Endoscopy Center.
Dr. Reeves received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Millsaps College and went on to pursue a medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She is board certified in Gastroenterology.
In addition to working at GI Associates, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine. She has extensive research experience, and has received numerous faculty appointments including the Association of Black Women Physicians, the American Women’s Medical Association and the American Gastroenterological Association. She has done extensive research in motility disorders and HIV-related conditions of the gut.

Dr. Brannan, a native of Atlanta, graduated with honors from the University of Georgia majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry. He attended the Medical College of Georgia on a U.S. Navy scholarship and was awarded his M.D. in 1982. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Brannan was stationed in Guam as Medical Officer for the submarine tender USS Proteus (AS-19) and provided medical support for military personnel and families throughout the western Pacific region.
Following his overseas duty he completed his medical residency at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. After completing service in the Navy, Dr. Brannan was a fellow in Digestive Diseases and Nutrition at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and served as a Clinical Instructor in Gastroenterology at UNC while pursuing advanced endoscopic training.
Dr. Brannan has authored numerous publications in medical journals and has participated in multiple clinical research studies investigating new medications and treatments for gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Brannan is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Prior to joining the GI Associates in 2015, Dr. Brannan has been a widely respected gastroenterologist at the Premier Medical Group in Jackson, MS for over twenty years. Dr. Brannan is affiliated with most major hospitals in the area and is accepting new patients.
